ROman, ancient greek and amber routes, innovative Methodologies and measures connecting Europe” is the tenor of a transnational project, co-financed by the European Union, with project-partners from Austria, Italy, Greece and some (former) EU-joining countries.

In a first step the culture-touristic attractions, potentials and offers along the Amber Road in Lower Austria were evaluated. Together with local responsables measures required for profiling the Weinviertel area were elaborated. The implementation actually takes place by a temporary limited management.

Building on that knowledge the „European Amber Road“ project, as a role-model for innovative networking of culture-touristic offers between the Baltic and the Adriatic Sea, was elaborated.
